The picture above is the picture of USC-TC, where there was an on going construction
of the engineering building (Bunzel building). All we can see is green. The forest was still healthy as
it was abundant with trees. If the map of USC-TC before is a plate, it is filled with so much vegetables,
you are a healthy person!
And this is the current picture of USC-TC.
You can see that today, there are lesser trees compared to before.
Maybe these were cut down for the construction of buildings.
Before I saw the pictures of the old USC, I was greatly impressed of the environment. But now that
I have seen the truth of it, I am disappointed of the changes commercialization has brought to the school.
Before, there were more trees, even if today there are still trees but it’s not as healthy and abundant
as before. Soon everything will vanish and even these trees will say goodbye. People think that they are
assured of the continuous growth of trees that they become dependent in cutting them down in an instant.
This is just the sad reality of a man’s mindset.
Hopefully, things wouldn’t get worse in reducing the population of these living allies. Yes, development
may be good but keep in mind that sometimes progress can be the reason of our downfall. This is entirely
true if we talk about nature. We need to do something. If humanity wouldn’t save nature, then who will?
